A LITTLE ABOUT US
TableRock Akitas can be found in the heart of Southern Oregon. We are a small family owned kennel of AKC Akitas. I am a stay at home mom and I have found great enjoyment working with our pack of Akitas. This is a hobby, not a get rich business. I operate and maintain our breeding program with the help and support of my four beautiful children. Our Akitas are part of the family. We enjoy spending quality time with each of them daily and taking them on adventures with us. We strive for kennel cleanliness, superior health, desirable temperament and striking confirmation. If we're not improving...we're not breeding. Our website has a lot of useful information about the Akita breed as well as information on our Akitas and available puppies. Excellent customer service is important to us, therefore we welcome your questions and comments
OUR PROMISE
We stand behind our breeding stock. Our puppies are socialized with children and other dogs. They are raised on parasite free grounds and will be parasite free upon going home. Vaccinations and worming are always up to date. We vet check each puppy prior to going to their new home.
Our puppies have a 2 year genetic health guarantee in addition to the lifelong customer support provided to you from us here at TableRock Akitas.
OUR TESTING
Our health testing is of utmost importance to us here at TableRock Akitas. In order to ensure that only the highest quality Akitas are bred in our program, we OFA certify the hips, elbows, patellas, eyes and thyroids of our breeding stock. In doing this our breeders are CHIC certified. When you purchase a puppy from TableRock Akitas, you can rest assured knowing that he/she will be healthy and happy for years to come.

HEALTH-Certifying that their breeding stock is health tested in accordance with the recommendations of their breed’s National Breed Club.
EDUCATION-Promising that they will pursue AKC provided or AKC approved continuing breeder education so that they stay educated on the best breeding practices, including advances in canine health.
ACCOUNTABILITY-Agreeing to comply with the AKC Care and Conditions Policy, including inspections by the AKC, and promising to share with AKC health testing and continuing education documentation.
RESPONSIBILITY-Accepting responsibility for the health and well-being of the puppies they produce and for complying with all laws regarding the ownership and maintenance of dogs.
TRADITION-Upholding the AKC’s tradition of breeding purebred dogs that are happy and healthy.
OUR DIET
We believe that there is nothing better than a home cooked meal and our Akitas would agree! That is why we have raised the bar by cooking fresh meals daily for our Akitas. We alternate meals to include one of the following: fish (rich omega-3 fatty acids) or chicken (high in protein). This is combined with rice, seaweed and cooked eggs over premium kibble that is free of additives and dyes. Our Akitas are muscular with beautiful coats as a result.
